Rates for Services
Event Management Support
Normal and customary service provided by event managers is included
in the facility rates. Events
are categorized in one of three event categories: basic, normal
or enhanced. Basic events include up to six hours of event management
support; normal events include up to ten hours; enhanced events
include up to fourteen hours. Special events requiring more than
the customary amount of service will be charged an additional $25.00
per hour for expanded support services.
Food Service Rates
- Summer Residential Conferences – Residential
conference groups purchase meals in a package, beginning with
the first all-conference meal through the last. The 2008 rate
for guests on the conference meal package plan is $22.45 per person,
per day, for three café-style meals. Parent-accompanied
children ages two years and under are free-of-charge, and are
half-price for ages three-to-seven. Meals on the package are pro-rated
to begin with your first actual meal through your last meal.
The package price breaks down as follows: Breakfast – $5.25;
Lunch – $7.65; Dinner – $9.55.
- Cash Meal Prices – Rates for guests attending
special events and for commuters or participants attending only
a portion of a conference are as follows: Breakfast – $6.00;
Lunch – $8.50; Dinner – $10.50.

Set-up, Trades and Security Rates
Customized set-up arrangements of tables and
chairs are charged by quote based upon the number of tables and
chairs required. All other set-up, tear-down and clean-up labor
is charged at $22.25 per man-hour (time-and-a-half after 4:30p.m.
and Saturdays; double-time Sundays and holidays). On-site custodial
support is required for all hours during which Edman Chapel is occupied,
charged at the same labor rates.
Media and Computer Technology Rates
- Media Services - Media Services technician service
rates are charged at $24.30 per man-hour (time-and-a-half on Saturdays;
double-time Sundays and holidays). See the Media

- Computer Technology - Computing Services technical
assistance for configuring computers and resolving technical issues
is available at $50 per hour.
Sports and Athletics Support
Rates
Sports and Recreation Center (SRC) labor
for reserved activities falling outside the normal
building operating hours will be charged at $20.00 per man-hour
(time-and-a-half after 4:30p.m. and Saturdays; double-time Sundays
and holidays).
Climbing wall riggers are $20.00-$25.00 per man-hour.
Lifeguard labor is $10.00 per hour.
Athletic support labor for gyms and athletic equipment
is as follows:
- Volleyball net (per court) $30
- Badminton net (per court) $10
- Basketball (per court) $5
- Bleachers (per side) $75
- Electronic score-boards (per board) $20 (There
are 3 boards in King Arena)
- Football blocking dummies (per day) $10 plus grounds
labor
- Football sleds (per day) $30 plus grounds labor
- Flip Score-boards (per day) $10
- Wrestling mats (per use) $100 plus custodial labor
- Track & Field Equipment Package $100 -- Includes
hurdles, rakes, high jump pit and bars, judge’s stand, starting
blocks
