and Recreation
Professionally-trained staff are available
to assist you with event support for athletic and recreational sports
events. Certified weight-strength coaches, athletic trainers, climbing
wall riggers, and gym monitors ensure that your participants safely
use our facilities, and provide equipment for activities in gym
and field locations.
Bookstore Services
Book ordering and sales support for your event or conference is
available through the Wheaton College Bookstore. Books may be ordered
for speakers and workshop leaders from U.S. publishers and held
on-site until the date of your event. The Bookstore also offers
their staff services for sales at your conference book tables.
Internet
Connectivity
Computing Services staff can assist you with configuring your
laptops and PDAs in order to connect to the Wheaton College network.
Wireless access is available throughout campus.
Liability Insurance
Affordable liability
insurance for conferences and events is available through Bene-Marc,
Inc. Through a partnership which Bene-Marc has formed with the University
Risk Management and Insurance Association, the Tenant User Program
provides short-term liability coverage specifically to insure colleges
and our clients and partners who lease campus facilities for events
and conferences.
Shipping and Receiving
Shipments of books and materials to support
your event or conference may be sent to campus by private carrier
or the U.S. Postal Service. Assistance to re-ship material following
events is also available through Shipping and Receiving.
